  I purchased this mount for use with my 42″ Samsung LCD tv about six months ago. Overall, I really like the versatility of this mount with the ability to swing a full 180 degrees as well as tilt. Moving the unit away/toward the wall takes a bit more effort than I would have expected, but can be accomplished with one person. The biggest difference I’ve noticed compared to the tilt-only mount I replaced is that the unit sticks out a bit more from the wall when pushed back fully flush. I guess this is to be expected given the two arms and all, but it didn’t occur to me when I bought the mount. Installation went smoothly, but is easier with two people. Also, unless you have a full set of drill bits, plan on buying a large bit to drill pilot holes for the wall anchor bolts, as they are quite large. Although this unit is pricey, in hindsight I wish I had purchased it when I purchased the television because this mount is much more versatile then the basic-tilt models that run between $100-$200.

  I bought this mount last year to hang a 47″ LCD in our bedroom. The wall I installed the mount on had 2 studs running down the middle, so the mount installation was fairly simple. There isn’t too much adjustment/wiggle room left to right with this mount, so wall placement could be somewhat of an issue depending on stud location, but other than that, the mount is a work of art, and solid as a rock. Been using it for over a year, and really like the quality. I can pull the TV out from the wall quite a ways when working on wiring, and the mount handles the TV weight with ease.

  This is my first wall mount for my 42″ plasma TV. It mounts close to the wall, tilts and was easy to install. Construction was excellent, and included parts to fit different panel “back side” options. Hanging the TV took two of us, but was expected. This is a great product and great value.

  This is an acceptable mount for a HDTV
  pros: sturdy construction,
  inexpensive
  cons: no pattern for mounting I had to make one myself but no big deal- helpful in looking for studs.
  outlet for HDTV as well as cable have to be made outside of mount not within the mount unlike other models

  I bought this mount a year ago roughly. I had 2 prior to it that were much cheaper, but in the long run ended up being more expensive due to time investment and hassle.

  I had one small issue with it where the television bracket wasn’t tight enough and caused rotation once it was hung, fixed it by tightening up and have had no issues since.

  It holds my TV without sagging even at full extension, I appreciate a product that does what it says it can.

  I took off one star because of the price and the issue with the rotation, if it had been much more loose it could have caused injury or damage and never mentions this being a source of adjustment.

  I’ve ordered this wall mount for my Sony Bravia 46″. Installation was very simple once I’ve found the studs in my wall – the instructions are pretty clear and the system is simple enough that one could mount it just based on a few pointers in the instructions. The design is giving good flexibility in terms of left/right positioning of the TV, and the product is sturdy enough that if you use adequate mounting screws (the ones in the package are good enough) and have reliable hard wood studs, you should not have any issues with the weight of the TV.
  The tilting range of the mount is great, not only for facing the TV at an ideal angle to your seating area, but it also allows to tilt the TV so high up, that you can actually get to the input and output jacks without dismounting the whole TV.
  The only little criticism I have is that, although the mount comes with various types of screws and discs, they could have thrown in a couple more options for shorter screws to match some of the holes on the back of my TV. I ended up getting some from the store.

  Great product. Much beefier than needed for my 46 inch! Great selection of fasteners. Option to set it 3/4 of an inch out from wall with spacers, which is great when it comes time to plug in all the equipment! Shorted me 4 proper sized washers, but I had some on hand, but real problem for those who don’t keep extra hardware laying around. Very easy to install. Angle adjust takes very little effort. Would have been nice to have one central area designated for cords to run to keep them all a little better organized, but this is a not really a design flaw. A few zip ties takes care of this anyway. If I end up with a second tv that needs a wall mount, I would buy this one again in a heartbeat.

  Went with the positive reviews on Amazon. Delivery was fast, instructions clear, set up easy. Very sturdy, and looks great. Can’t find a better product. Amazon reviews does it again.
