  This TV is very slow to activate. Reminds me of the old tube tv’s.

  Don’t pay too much attention to the negative reviews. I bought this refurbished TV from Amazon in May and have it mounted on the bedroom wall. Picture (SD/HD) and SRS sound are good. Start-up is a little slow, around 10 sec. Also manual touch controls are a little sensitive, takes a while to get used to. You can always use the remote, which works fine. Remote must have RF, since I can point it at the opposite wall and it still works. Shop around, go for this 2007 model if you can get it for $300 or less. Otherwise, get the L19A331 model.

  Useful tip: for wall mount, top of TV should not be more than a couple of inches above eye level. Otherwise, picture will be a little dark.

  I have several different models of 19 inch HDTVs in the house. This HDTV gives me the best reception and best picture of any of them. The white color also looks great in our kitchen.
